Kona Body Care products are all natural

For centuries, the Hawaiians have been using the ultra-light oil from the Kukui (koo-koo-ee) nut on their skin. Kukui nut oil is rapidly absorbed into the skin because of its natural PH balance. It is non-greasy and suitable for all skin types.

The untold story of Kukui Nut Oil

Hundreds of years ago, Hawaiians discovered that when the Kukui shells were removed and the kernels lightly roasted, a clear oil could be extracted. It was found to be an excellent penetrating oil, which when smoothed on the skin, soothed and softened sunburns and irritations. Kukui Nut Oil was found to be exceptionally safe, too - newborn babies were bathed in this easily absorbed oil to soothe and protect their skin.

NO ANIMAL TESTING. EVER.

Kona Body Care follows the Fixed Cut Off Date (FCOD) methodology which guarantees that our products are free from animal testing and has a policy for not using any ingredients tested on animals from a fixed date. The FCOD methodology is considered the "gold standard" by most anti-vivisection organizations around the world.

To be clear, Kona Body Care follow the FCOD policy and we are proud to promote the ethical treatment of all the occupants of our world.

Rainforest Safe.

Our products are RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil) certified. The RSPO is a non-profit organization responsible for developing and implementing a global standard for sustainable palm oil.

Hawaiian products...made in Vermont.

I know, it sounds weird, but our Kukui nut oil soap is manufactured in Vermont. Produced at the leading, premium skincare manufacturer in the United States - TwinCraft Skincare - allows us to produce a globally sourced, technically superior product from the same manufacturer that makes Aveda, Origins, Burts Bees and hundreds of other brand names. Why compromise quality when you choose all-natural products?
